Are you in your 50s or beyond? Are you a homeowner with the means to plan for the years ahead? If so, you are not only part of the Thriving in Place Ecosystem—you define it. You represent the largest and most influential segment of the remodeling market today and for years to come.

The Solution: Thrive in Place.
Investing in your home today means more than just adding value—it means protecting your lifestyle, health, and peace of mind for the future. Don’t wait for an injury, mobility issue, or life event to force your hand.

Please remember when dealing with our loved ones; listening is way more important than talking. 💜
As I mention in my video, "I truly believe it is never too late to start your health journey."
My three pillars of longevity—health, environment, and community—require you to establish a routine, remain flexible, and be kind to yourself.
We support our clients by recommending and evaluating products and services tailored to their individual needs, ensuring they stay on their path to longevity.
Life's Encore Planning serves client with Legacy planning by:
Advising for what needs to be in place to preserve your legacy legally and financially; such as Estate, Taxes and Insurance.
Research and recommend the needed professionals for your unique situation.
Create a plan, monitor to ensure implementation, automate where possible, organize and distribute needed documentation.
Over the past 100 years Americans have experienced a significant increase in life expectancy which amounts to around 23 plus years.
We've gained this longevity due to medical advances, public health improvements and chronic disease management among others.
The question I ask my clients is how do you want to spend your added longevity?
Statistics show 80% of us want to Age in Place. When I ask potential clients "what plans do you have in place to do that successfully", I get a blank look.
I don't see it as Aging in Place, I see it as Thriving in Place. Thriving sounds so much better to me. To do that you need to be intentional and clearly understand how you want to do that.
Unfortunately, our homes were built to accommodate a very small percentage of our society. This means physical updates needing to be made inside and outside your home will take time. The time to make these kind of updates is not once a health emergency is prompts it.
To thrive as we age we need to plan ahead. It's not something most of us want to do, although we must! Thankfully, product and service options in Health and Age Tech is growing exponentially so we are able to Thrive in place successfully.
If you have any questions about this please reach out.
When hiring a caregiver or assistant for your aging loved one you have the option of going through an agency or hiring someone yourself. Neither is necessarily an easy task. It can be overwhelming for the older adult and those who support them.
A lot of older adults are not receptive to the thought of needing a caregiver and will push back hard when the caregiving conversation comes up. If they do not need physical care although still need support with daily/weekly tasks and company I suggest hiring an assistant for them. This person would still be qualified as a caregiver despite the fact you are hiring them as an assistant for NOW for your loved one. Semantics are very important when supporting your aging loved one.
There are many paths we can choose on our aging journey with lots of steps along the way. Once you and your loved one have had THE Conversation you can now prioritize and pick which path is right, for right now.
Family dynamics are different for each family. Sharing your concerns clearly and in the proper setting are key to a drama free conversation. Take the time to know exactly what you want to talk about and remember you don't need to cover them all in one conversation.
We cannot start planning what and how we will deal with an aging journey until we understand the concerns and needs of all involved. Everyone will come with there own past and present experiences that need to be shared. Transparency from the beginning will set the tone and expectations.
