What a joyful time it is as we welcome the beautiful spring season at our preschool! 🌼🌈
Our little learners had an amazing time celebrating Holi with bright colors, laughter, and lots of fun activities that filled the day with happiness and creativity. 🎨💛 It was a wonderful way to explore culture, friendship, and the joy of togetherness.
And the excitement didn’t stop there… because a very special guest hopped in to visit us — the Easter Bunny! 🐰🥚 The children were absolutely thrilled! From giggles and hugs to fun Easter-themed activities, the day was full of magical moments and big smiles.
Through these celebrations, our children are not only having fun but also learning about different traditions, sharing joy with friends, and embracing the spirit of the season. 🌷

STEAM based and play activities to learn about nature

Time flies when the children are having fun (and learning)!
It’s hard to believe we’ve already zoomed through the start of the year and said goodbye to February. We’ve been busy bees, blending heart and science to explore everything from shadows to sentiment through a variety of hands-on STEAM activities. From exploring light and shadows for Groundhog Day to engineering "love bugs" and building bridges of kindness for Valentine’s Day and Friendship, our month has been packed with discovery. We also dove into cultural traditions with colorful mechanics for the Lunar New Year and used creative problem-solving to navigate emotions and develop leadership skills. It’s been a month full of connection and a whole lot of "aha!" moments, and we can’t wait to see what March has in store for us!

It’s hard to believe how fast the new year started and that February is already gone!
Our infant-toddler class had a wonderful month celebrating Valentine’s Day and the beauty of friendship. Through intentional play, we explored big emotions and feelings, helping our littlest learners navigate their world with kindness and curiosity. From heart-centered sensory bins to practicing gentle hands with friends, it’s been a month full of connection and sweet "aha!" moments. We are so excited to see our little ones continue to grow and discover new things throughout the month of March!

It was a privilege to celebrate the holiday season with our students through our gingerbread-themed curriculum, which combined festive activities with a meaningful book exchange and a delightful student performance. This successful event was made possible by the dedication of our teachers, who worked tirelessly to prepare our young performers for their time on stage. We would also like to extend our sincere gratitude to the parents and families who joined us; your participation is what truly makes our school community special. As we welcome the start of the New Year, we look forward to a successful 2026 filled with continued growth and achievement for every child.

🎃 An Eventful October Full of Learning and Fun! 🎃
October was a month filled with excitement and discovery! Our children learned about different holidays and festivals while exploring academic concepts through engaging STEM activities. They had a wonderful time celebrating Diwali, the pumpkin patch at playyard, and enjoying Halloween festivities.

🌟 A Wonderful Start to Our Preschool Year in September! 🌟
Our preschoolers have been busy learning all about themselves and the community around them! To bring their learning to life, we welcomed community helpers into our classroom to share their important roles and provide meaningful, hands-on experiences.
These valuable interactions help our children make real-world connections, fostering curiosity and a deeper understanding of the world around them. We look forward to continuing this journey of discovery as we explore many more engaging seasonal topics and holidays throughout the school year. 💫

🌱 Growing and Flourishing in Our Infant–Toddler Classroom 🌱
As the new school year begins, our infants and toddlers are actively engaging in daily exploration and learning. They are developing a deeper understanding of themselves, their environment, and the world around them—including seasonal changes, holidays, and many more topics that will support their continued learning throughout the year. We are proud to support their growth each day as they continue to learn, discover, and thrive.

🌞🍎 Summer Fun Learning at Wonder Steps Preschool!🎉

We wrapped up a fantastic summer weeks of hands-on learning, exploration, and joyful memories! Our little learners dove into summer-themed adventures that supported growth, curiosity, and connection:
🍏 Apple & Grape Picking + Tasting
We explored nature’s treats with hands-on fruit picking and delicious tastings — learning colors, textures, and flavors straight from the vine! 🍇👅and a sweet way to connect with nature and food!
🛒🛍️ Farmers Market Exploration
We set up a mini farmers market where children practiced “shopping,” naming fruits & veggies, and learning about healthy choices through play. 🥕🧺
🏖️ Beach Day + Water Play
Water tables, beach balls, and lots of bubbles are fun! Sensory-rich water play helped support gross motor skills, social interaction, coordination, confidence and cooling off in the sun!
⛺ Camping Fun with Tent & Popsicles
We set up our own toddler-friendly campsite — tents, pretend campfires, and popsicles to cool off on a hot day! It was imagination and teamwork at its best. 🔦🍡
🎪 Carnival Day Celebration!
Our grand finale featured:
🎈 Classic carnival games
🏰 A bounce house full of laughter
🍿 Popcorn, shaved ice & honey-dipped apples!
It was a joyful celebration of a summer well spent!
