MMS/Latimer East Coast Trip 2024

To recap: We visited five states, all three places/buildings where presidents have been/are inaugurated, took planes, buses, ferries, and subways to get ourselves around. We walked around 48 miles over six days. Stayed in three hotels. Saw Hamilton on Broadway where it was reported that someone cried 16 times. 😳 Created memories to last a lifetime! I couldn’t have done this without our amazing teachers and adults that joined us on this adventure. Thank you for trusting me with your most valuable possessions! Now to unpack and catch up on some missed sleep.

We had a 5:45 am wake up call for our last day in the Big Apple. We ate breakfast at Hard Rock Cafe then headed downtown and hopped on a ferry to see Lady Liberty and visit Ellis Island. After we walk to Wall Street had some NYC pizza and finished at the 9/11 Memorial. We are finally headed home. What a great trip!

We hit the ground running after our arrival in New York. Took a stroll through Central Park, road the subway to Rockefeller Center and spent too much time at The Top of the Rock. The kids did awesome navigating through Times Square so we could end our evening with dinner and a show.
