We are proud to announce Professor Karin Brown from San Jose State University's Philosophy Department as our Keynote speaker for this year's conference! Professor Brown will be delivering a talk on the role of sympathy in political leadership. Professor Brown specializes in political theory and ethics, and, in addition to her teaching, has authored critical analyses of the role of sympathy in letters from the French Enlightenment.

We are happy to introduce Jack Bowen as our closing speaker for this year's Philosophy Conference!
In addition to being a teacher of philosophy at the Menlo School, Jack Bowen is a bestselling author of philosophy, who has published 3 books about philosophy. His debut novel, "The Dream Weaver" made the San Francisco Chronicle Bestseller List as well as the Amazon Top 500. In addition, Mr. Bowen has spoken at academic philosophy conferences throughout the United States and England, published in numerous philosophy journals, and serves as the Senior Lecturer for the Great Books Program at Stanford University in the summer!

We are happy to introduce Professor Rob Reich as our keynote speaker for this year's Philosophy Conference!
Professor Reich is a Professor of Political Science, and is the faculty director of the Center for Ethics in Society and co-directs the Center on Philanthropy and Civil Society. Professor Reich's research focuses on contemporary political theory, and has examined democracy, justice, and philanthropy in the past. Professor Reich is also a recipient of the Walter J. Gores Award, Stanford's highest teaching honor.
