A new covid variant called Omicron has been classified as a variant of concern (VOC). While scientists and public health officials are conducting studies on this new variant, we can continue to protect ourselves and the people around us by maintaning social distance, wearing our masks in public place (indoor & outdoor), washing our hands often, getting tested, and of course getting vaccinated.

Although little is known about this variant, remember that vaccines are our best line of defense against infectious diseases 💉🦠

Our shield up health campaign seeks to distribute information, increase knowledge, raise awareness, provide resources, build community, and form support systems for COVID-19 prevention, control and coping among SJSU students!!

Congratulations to the class of 2020 & 2021!! We are so proud and happy of your accomplishments. And congrats to our shield up team graduating!! Thank you for letting shield you be a part of your journey 🤍 good luck on your future endeavors!!
