I saw a post that our dear cousin JoEllen Jackson Gold, daughter of Bob and Peggy Lee Jackson, sister of Vicki Lynn Jackson Satta and deceased Marcia Lee Jackson, died yesterday.
Our love and prayers go out to her husband, Michael Gold, sister, Vicki Satta, family and friends.
Even though we didn’t see each other for too many years she is in my heart. 💗

ANNA MARIE PARKER & RONALD RAY LEE
RONALD RAY LEE was born 9 Mar 1928 in Holdrege, Phelps, Nebraska. His father James Mandeville Lee and his mother Dora Arabella Hammond Lee welcomed him into the family as #8 of 9 children. He spent his youth in Holdrege, Nebraska. He is survived by sister in law, Ruth Elaine Erickson Lee, who is living in Holdrege, Nebraska.
Ron served in the US Army and was a WWII veteran stationed in Oahu, Hawaii post war 1945-1947. While waiting to be sent to Japan as occupation enforcement he served by fixing equipment and keeping the presses running for the US Army News.
ANNA MARIE PARKER was born 16 Feb 1929 in Alma, Harlan, Nebraska. She was the baby of 4 sisters and is survived by sister Claudia Nadine Parker Watts, who is living in Alliance, Box Butte, Nebraska. Her father Claudius Marion Parker and her mother Mary Ann (Anna) Mayo Parker moved with the available work during the difficult 1930s and finally settled in Stamford, Nebraska. After graduating at Stamford High School, Ann went to nursing school in Holdrege Hospital, Holdrege, Nebraska.
There the paths crossed and upon returning to Holdrege, Nebraska Ronald Ray Lee married Anna Marie (Ann) Parker on 2 Dec 1948 in Holdrege, Phelps, Nebraska. They left their family homes to find work in Los Angeles, California where they were blessed with 4 healthy children and made their home in Lakewood, Los Angeles, California. Ron’s career ended as superintendent of Soule’ Steel Company of Carson, California. They spent their retirement years helping and teaching their children and traveling. Traveling always meant visiting family, which is how they spent all of their vacations.
Ron and Ann joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and were baptized in Bellflower, Los Angeles, California on 17 Jan 1976.
They lived their last years in San Jacinto, Riverside, California. Ann left this Earth on 11 Mar 2015 at Beaumont, Riverside, California. Ron followed 5 years later on 26 Feb 2020 at the home of grandchildren Gabriel and Julianna Lee Tapia and 4 great grandsons in Fullerton, Orange, California where he was lovingly cared for in his last days.
Ronald and Ann were preceded in death by grandson Aaron James Finney, great grandson Adam John Finney, son Richard Dayton Lee, daughter Karen Evalyn Lee, and son John Jay Lee. They are survived by daughter Rhonda Rae Lee Finney & David Wesley Finney. They left 12 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. They are also beloved by countless nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Interment is at Riverside National Cemetery, where Ronald and Ann’s earthly remains await the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.
