Our 3rd graders took a trip back in time at Riley’s Farm earlier this week! 🕰️🍎✨ Students got a glimpse of colonial life as they played traditional games, practiced writing with feather quills and ink, made candles, discovered the art of metalworking, tried their hand at weaving, and so much more! 🇺🇸📜 These scholars had so much fun bringing history to life! ❤️💙

Our campus was buzzing with curiosity during Megan Cope Elementary’s Family Science Night earlier this month! From creative experiments to hands-on activities, our Seahawks had the opportunity to think like scientists, test their ideas, and discover the wonders of science alongside their families. 🧪🔍

Students and families got creative with nature-inspired art, put their engineering skills to the test with floating foil boats, enjoyed special presentations from our community partners, and so much more. It was an evening full of questions, discoveries, and exciting learning! 💡✨

A huge thank you to Dr. Darapiza, Mrs. Bennett, and everyone who helped make this night so special! We can’t wait to see the incredible ideas, experiments, and discoveries our young scientists bring to this year’s Science Fair! 🔬

🔬🧪 Science Fair Information Meeting! 💡✨
We’re excited to kick off another year of curiosity, creativity, and discovery! 🧬🔍 Students are welcome to join us at our first Science Fair Information Meeting this afternoon to learn more about the process of exploring, experimenting, and bringing their ideas to life! Students will be provided with information about Science Fair requirements, as well as supplies for their projects!

Any students not able to attend will have another chance to join us on October 19th at 2:00-2:30 PM in the MPR. 😊

Yesterday, we celebrated and sent off a very special member of our school family as they begin their next chapter. 📖✨

Having been part of our district even before Megan Cope Elementary opened its doors, and with us since the very start, Mrs. Walsh’s impact on our school community has truly been monumental.

Thank you for the years of care, dedication, and joy you’ve shared with our students, staff, and Seahawk family. 🩵 You will be so, so missed, but we are so, so excited to see all the wonderful things ahead of you!

Sweet Success in 3rd Grade! 🧁

Our third graders whipped up some mathematical magic at their Array Bakery yesterday! 🥐✨ Students rotated through hands-on stations, built arrays, practiced multiplication, and put their math skills to work– all while having a little fun along the way!

We’re so proud of our little mathematicians for working hard, collaborating, and showing off their skills!
