“ Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor.” Romans 12:10

This year, our school will focus on loving and serving others by putting them first.

Jesus taught that it is easy to love those those who love you, but it’s more difficult to love your enemies and love without expecting anything in return. This is what Jesus did for us, and this is the way he challenges us to live. Jesus died on the cross for us while we were still his enemies. We are called to love like Jesus loved - genuinely and radically.

In Romans 12:9-21, we are given ways to show genuine love to God and others.
- Turn from evil and do good.
- Outdo one another in showing honor.
- Don’t wait for someone to encourage you before you encourage them.
- Give to those that can’t repay you.
- Pray for those God places in your life.
- Do your part to live at peace with those around you.

May we have a great year focusing on loving one another as Jesus loves us.

We are excited to introduce our new Bulldog Family Connection President, Stacey Spickard! As a fellow Bulldog alumna (class of 1997), Stacey has been serving in the BFC as a Room Parent for the past 4 years. She has 3 children enrolled at SGCS, Penelope (5th), Alexandra (3rd), and Timothy (Kinder). She and her husband, Daniel, met while attending UCSD and have been married for 18 years. Stacey is excited to see what God has in store for our SGCS parent community and is eager to serve our amazing SGCS staff.
