Sprouting and planting seeds with toddlers can promote understanding of the plant life cycle, responsibility, sensory exploration, and a connection to nature. It also helps build fine and gross motor skills, patience, and early math and science concepts.

At Peas in a Pod Daycare we go beyond basic care, we stay current with the latest research on children’s nutrition and digestive health, staying updated in emerging studies in pediatric nutrition and immunity. And that means understanding not only what foods are served, but why they matter for growing bodies.

We believe that by nurturing gut health naturally, through thoughtful food preparation, variety, fiber, and fermented options when suitable, we can help support digestive wellness and overall resilience in the children entrusted to our care.
