What High School Should Be. Drew School is a college preparatory high school in San Francisco.

Drew School believes in teenagers - their ideas, their dreams, their opinions, and their potential. That's why we've created a high school community that challenges the traditional definition of success and celebrates achievement one student at a time. The result is that our students develop into fascinating individuals who are sought after by colleges, and who know themselves well as they step out into the world.

One final conference, one more incredible showing for Drew Model UN. 🌍🐉

At their most recent conference at UC Davis, three Drew delegates earned individual awards —including Best Delegate — continuing an impressive streak of Drew MUN students earning awards at every conference attended this year.

The conference also featured a special Drew connection: former Drew student and Model UN member Katy Simpson ‘25 🎓 chaired one of the committees, with a topic inspired by a Point Reyes field trip she took while studying Marine Science at Drew.

Congratulations to all of our delegates, and a special thank you to student leaders Arla and Jonas for their leadership throughout the year. 💚✨

A summer that fits your schedule — and sparks new passions. ☀️✨

NEW: Families can now register rising 6th-9th graders for just one week of Summer@Drew, or join for the full three-week experience!

Whether students dive into music production or explore our maker space—or both!—they’ll build real skills, create hands-on projects, and connect with a supportive community of peers and educators. 💚🐉

From producing original tracks to designing and building in the maker space, every week offers something meaningful, creative, and fun.

No matter how long they join us, students leave with new experiences, new friendships, and something they’re proud to have made.

Making history. 🏆🐉

For the first time in school history, Drew Varsity Baseball are BCL Central Champions.

The Dragons brought home the title with a huge 9–3 win over Waldorf — capping off an unforgettable season and a milestone moment for Drew Athletics.

From our seniors to our underclassmen, this team built something special: heart, resilience, Dragon spirit, and a true sense of community. No better group to make history. 💚⚾️

Led by Drew alum Kevin Ebrado ’20 and faculty member Erin Pederson, this championship is more than a title — it’s a sign of what’s growing at Drew.

A Place at the Table: Celebrating Diversity at Drew brought the our community together for an evening of food, conversation, culture, and connection. 💚

Following a day of student-led reflection and dialogue during Shanti-Fest, students, families, faculty, and staff gathered to share stories, play games, and celebrate the many perspectives and experiences that make our community stronger.

From dinner and laughter to mahjong, lotería, dominoes, and spades, the evening was a reminder that community is built in moments spent together. 🐉✨

In Drew’s Sewing & Textiles course, students explore the full creative process behind fashion and textile design — from designing original patterns to sewing garments, bags, and more. 🧵✨

The class welcomed Kat from Baby Cats of CA, who shared her experience as a textile designer and business owner. Students got an inside look at her creative process through examples of screen printed, hand-painted, and digitally printed fabric designs, while also learning about the journey of building her brand.

A fun and inspiring opportunity for students to learn directly from another working artist and industry professional. 💚🐉

DEALL Week, in action. 🌍✨

From horseback riding and Muay Thai training to rocket launches, lantern building, ceramics, and woodshop, Drew students spent the week learning by doing. Across the Bay Area and beyond, students stepped outside the traditional classroom to hike local trails, create original work, and dive into experiences that challenged them to think critically, adapt, collaborate, and create.

Some students hiked local trails and created original work. Others traveled farther—studying Civil Rights history and the ongoing legacy of segregation in New Orleans, discovering the culture and language of Québec, or exploring Monterey Bay as a conservation success story through snorkeling, kayaking, and whale watching while learning about our connection to the ocean.

That’s DEALL: Drew Education for Active Lifelong Learning. A week where academic classes pause so students and faculty can immerse themselves in experiential courses that transform learning into something active, meaningful, and truly their own. 💚🐉
