SFCAC is offering impromptu art camps in the event of an SFUSD teacher strike and possible school closures.
Camps will be structured as 2-day workshops for students in grades 1-5 from 10 am to 4pm each day, with Mondays & Tuesdays and Thursdays & Fridays. (Unfortunately, we have other classes in our studio on Wednesdays, so we are unable to offer programming on that day).
We’ll offer a variety of artmaking activities, including drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, and more! Each 2-day session will include different activities for those who wish to sign up for multiple sessions.
If the strike lingers on, additional 2-day workshops will be added to the schedule. If the strike is resolved and schools re-open, workshops will be canceled and pro-rated refunds will be issued.
