At Baby Tree, we offer a warm and respectful environment for children. Our ratios are low which allows for plenty of one-on-one interactions, cuddling and playing together between teachers and children, and between peers. Our teachers support children's Social Emotional Development as they:
• Form attachments; knowing that they have grown-ups in their lives who love and care for them
• Learn to be
part of a group and feeling as if they belong
• Learn to manage their emotions and empathize with others
• Develop a sense of responsibility to themselves and to others
• Understand that there are different rules for different places
We provide a Mandarin Immersion environment to support children as they develop their Second Language Development:
• Receptive language skills; the ability to understand words and increasingly complex communications.
• Expressive language skills; the ability to produce the sounds of language and use vocabulary and increasingly complex communications.
• Communications skills, the ability to communicate, both non-verbally and verbally.
• Interest in print and a love of books

• Understanding of Personal Care Routines; understanding and participating in personal care routines such as eating, dressing, and diaper changing or toileting. Kids learn about the world (and people) around them through their senses. We provide a sensory-rich environment for children to safely explore and to be the scientists they naturally are. We also provide the space, equipment, materials, support and encouragement that allow our toddlers to develop both gross and fine motor skills. Our lesson and activity plans, routines, experiences and environment are to ensure that the children in our programs are healthy, happy, and enter kindergarten with the foundation they need to be successful.
