San Francisco Fashion Week™ 2015 is offering fashion walking tours this year! FASHION TOURS are guided walking & learning tours taking place during the day on Sat and Sun (Sept 26 and 27). Join us for Saturday’s SOMA maker movement tour featuring shared technical, development and retail spaces, or Sunday’s Made in SF tour featuring local fashion and accessory

brands and retailers, or both! Tour Description:
Despite a general decline in overall US apparel and manufacturing sectors, San Francisco’s fashion industry, with 120 years of history and innovation, still ranks 3rd in the US and is currently undergoing a major renaissance as the leading strategic development hub for fashion and technology startups, wearable technologies, and retail and brand technology R&D and innovation eco-systems – San Francisco also enjoys a strong and vibrant maker and craft movement emphasizing both old-world techniques and world-class manufacturing expertise.
