Quick Bit:

This palace was amazing. My favorite by far was the initiation well. Supposedly, it’s 27 meters (88.5 feet) deep. They say this palace is gothic & mystical✨ Supposedly, it was not only a well but allegedly, a portal to another world, hidden secrets, steeped in symbolism & mystery.

There are several hidden tunnels underneath the palace interconnecting to lakes & gardens.

There was a chapel & manor home on the premises as well.

This place did not disappoint. I made reservations about a month before my trip. Thanks to a friend of mine for the recommendation!

Entrees: Octopus rice & Seabass with potatoes

Highly recommend this place if you’re ever in Lisbon!

Hope everyone had a great mid-autumn moon 🌕 festival with family and friends. This tradition is a celebration of autumn/food harvest, the full moon, unity amongst all, & family reunion. 🥮
