SFSU's Student Dance Alliance is a student-run organization that desires to bring dance to everyone, without any pressure or stress. We plan to provide classes, teaching opportunities, performance opportunities, events, amongst other things. We also strive to create a space for artists to explore their craft and celebrate dance.

The School of Theatre & Dance Search Committee has invited four (4) candidates for their on-campus interviews in our school. They will each have a full day with us involving meetings, lecture demonstration/instruction, lunch, campus tour, dinner with faculty, etc. Each candidate will be meeting with our School Director, Search Committee, College Dean, Faculty and Students. For the "Meeting with the Students" part of their visit, we will need ample student representation to make their experience complete and insightful. This is the time for our students to directly meet, greet and have a Q & A with each candidate that pertains to the search process, specifically to the Theatre History/Performance Studies teaching position. In turn, this will also give each candidate a better and first-hand account of our diverse student population here at SFSU School of Theatre & Dance. Ultimately, our school will greatly benefit by having student perspectives on the hiring process. We need our students' participation in these important events. Please take time out to meet our four candidates!!

Dancers we’re back! Our first workshop of the semester is tomorrow, Tuesday February 20th from 5-6pm in CA 102! We want to collaborate/jam/vibe/dance with all of you so this is more of a collab sesh and it’ll be run by our president and our other SDA officers! Come dance with us!
