We are very sad to announce that our steel bridge has been disqualified from the ASCE Steel Bridge Competition because of a violation of the Rule 9.3 " (4) if a violation exceeds 2”, the bridge will not be approved for load testing and will not be eligible for awards in any category." We missed this mark by only ONE inch. However our construction time was one of the best ones among all the school. We finished our construction in a little over 17 minutes. The average construction time of other school was approximately 25 mins. The best time was by Tongji University from China, who finished their construction in only 11.25 mins! This was a great learning experience for all of us and SFSU Team did a great job putting this project together ! Great work everyone! Good luck to SFSU team 2016 for next year preparation!

Who knew learning how to keep your hands steady while painting your nails would be so useful. One of our team mates practicing to weld.
