honorable, the, marriage, in, all
‘‘Marriage is to be held in honor in all’’
God made man (Adam) then He made woman (Eve) as his helper (Gen. 2:18). A stable family consists of a man as a pillar of the family, his wife as his supporter, and his children as the obedient followers of the parents. If the wife does not support her husband, if the children do not obey, or if the couple allows the child’s stubbornness, the family will be unstable.
When the couple lives holy in the LORD and respect each other, the marriage will be honorable and successful.

my God, my God, why, you have forsaken me
“My God, my God, why have You forsaken me?”
This is the last cry of Jesus Christ when He was on the cross. He called His Father "my God" because He was abandoned from God the Father temporarily for our sins. He not only suffered in physical body on the cross, but also fell down to hell in order to pay the punishment of all our sins for us. How great is His love! We need to meditate on His anguish and agony this holy week and give thanks to Him. He deserves to receive our praises.

(ἀνίημι: desert ; οὐδʼ =οὐδέ: and not ; ἐγκαταλείπω: forsake)
“….I will never desert you, nor will I ever forsake you”
God promises to us that He will never leave or forsake us. How great this promise is! We are not afraid of anything because the Almighty God is with us. God is our great helper. Praise the LORD!

(ἁμαρτία: sin; μιμνῄσκομαι: remember)
“I will remember their sins … no more.”
Not only does God forgive our sins when we repent them, He promises that He will remember them no longer. There is no discrimination and no limitation of His grace, no matter how many times or how serious our sins are.
When you have wronged or sinned, don’t wait while holding guilt. Repent your sins in Jesus’ name, and He will forgive you and will not remember them. Live free from guilt and shame by His grace.

(ταπεινοφροσύνη: humility; ἡγέομαι: consider; ὑπερέχω: be better than/surpass)
“Do nothing from selfishness…, but in humility considering others more significant than yourselves”
Human beings are innately self-centered and seek self-glory. As one of the characteristics of maturity, humility is developed to deny selfishness and empty conceit. As we become mature, we seek God’s glory and other advantages. Examine your own heart and see whether you desire success for yourself or for God and His kingdom.

if you have faith like a grain of mustard ... nothing is impossible for you
(ἔχω: have; ἀδυνατέω: be impossible)
“if you have faith like a grain of mustard seed … nothing will be impossible for you.’”
Jesus rebuked His disciples because of their little faith and doubt and said if they had faith as small as a mustard seed, they could make a mountain move just by telling it to. He teaches us that nothing is impossible for us with faith. Believe in Jesus Christ and His Word! Then the Spirit of the Almighty God will help you.

(ποιέω: do; ἐγκακέω: grow weary, lose enthusiasm; θερίζω: reap)
“Let us not grow weary in doing good, for in due time we will reap…”
Sometimes we become weary and lose enthusiasm when we do not see the results. God fulfills His promises as long as we trust in Him and persevere in faith. Do not give up! Hold steady in faith as you are doing your good work. Then you will reap your rewards during a proper season like a farmer reaps the harvest.

When we are in a high quality hotel, we don’t need to bring toiletries and we can relax in a soft and comfortable bed. Only thing we need to bring is money.
Our God is the best shelter and gives us refuge from the wearisome world. We don’t need to carry anxiety, fear or depression when we go to His shelter. What we need is trust and faith in Him. Only then will we have divine peace and understanding without regards to what our circumstances and situations are. Go to Him, and His peace will keep you out of any distress.

God knows our hearts better than we know ourselves and He is able to judge according to our motivation and deeds. His omniscience not only strengthens and encourages us, but also challenges us. We have to live honest and true before Him and believe that He can help us.

Jesus Christ is the only power source we need. He gives us wisdom, strength, guidance, and provision when we are with Him. We are empowered by Him beyond measure. We can handle anything through any situation with Him. Do not be discouraged as you continue your journey because through Him all is possible.

This earthly life is temporary, and some day all we will stand before God and give accounts of our life to Him. If we lived our lives seeking God’s kingdom and trying to follow His righteousness, we will go to heaven as we sought. If not, we will lay in the darkness with regret.
Let’s make the best of this short life for Him.
