Arts Education Alliance of the Bay Area

The Arts Education Alliance of the Bay Area CONNECTS and CATALYZES local arts education coalitions for a more just and creative San Francisco Bay Area.

The Arts Education Alliance of the Bay Area (AEABA, formerly Arts Providers Alliance of San Francisco, APASF) is a group of professional artists and arts organizations and their allies dedicated to the advancement of arts education in the San Francisco Bay Area. AEABA members are all actively engaged in providing children and youth with educational opportunities in the creative arts. The AEABA provides a forum for the exchange of information and ideas among members and the arts education field at large. Objectives
To work in collaboration with the San Francisco Unified School District, community based organizations, city agencies, and funders to advance the education and well-being of children and youth through involvement with the arts. To uphold and expand the role of artists and arts organizations in education. To advocate for sound arts education policies at local, state, and national levels. To provide members with opportunities for collaboration and promotion. This arts education community resource was developed to make connecting with schools, marketing your curriculum and show-casing events and PD easier and more efficient. We are a Member of Intersection for the Arts. Intersection provides resources, community and cultural space in order to contribute to the sustainable practices of artists and arts organizations the San Francisco Bay Area. - Advocating for arts and equitable, community-based arts education to our representatives

This Arts, Culture, and Creativity month we’re excited to see what grows following our Planting Seeds conference. In just one day we learned and exchanged so much thanks to our presenters. ✨🌱✨

Planting Seeds 2026: Art, Community, Connection, Joy, and Conversation. ✨🌱✨

We gathered 150 practitioners across 28 cities in the Bay Area including artists, teachers, teaching artists, administrators, community organizations, funders, and advocates.

Thank you to for hosting us - providing a beautiful backdrop for our panel and sessions throughout the day.

And thank you to our panelists and collaborators for sharing their work and wisdom. We’re looking forward to seeing what continues to grow in the weeks and months ahead.

Excited to partner with SFUSD’s Arts Department to present over 40 Community Arts Partners at the SFUSD Administrator’s Meeting.

Arts partners have the opportunity to share their programs and resources to 500+ SFUSD administrators.
