The 2025 Robert W. Binkley Visiting Professor Dinner took place on April 9 in San Francisco — and we’re grateful to everyone who joined us. Hosted by the UCSF Vascular Surgery and the Foundation to Advance Vascular Cures, the evening brought together leaders, colleagues, and supporters in a shared goal: patient-centered vascular research and prevention.

We honored the legacy of Dr. Robert W. Binkley, and of the Binkley family, including the late Dr. Frederick M. Binkley and his children, whose continuous commitment and support make this evening possible. This year’s featured speaker, Dr. Alik Farber — Surgeon-in-Chief at Boston Medical Center and Chair of Surgery at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine Boston University — delivered a thought-provoking address on leadership and innovation, with an unwavering focus on improving patient lives.
