SISF Shows Up Strong at the Sierra Pacific Region’s 50th Anniversary Celebration

What an incredible event!

This past weekend, I was honored to attend the 50th Anniversary Celebration of the Sierra Pacific Region in Fresno, California as President of Soroptimist International of San Francisco.

What an incredible milestone celebrating 50 years of service, leadership, sisterhood, and unwavering commitment to improving the lives of women and girls throughout our communities.

Being in a room filled with so many passionate and visionary women was both inspiring and energizing. The shared stories, fellowship, laughter, and dedication to service reminded me why this work matters so deeply. When women come together with purpose, lives are transformed and communities are strengthened.

As President of SISF, I left Fresno reflecting on the power of legacy and the importance of continuing to build strong leaders for the future. Service is not just about what we do today—it’s about the doors we open for the next generation.

This weekend, I had the honor of attending the 50th Anniversary Celebration of the Sierra Pacific Region in beautiful Fresno, California with club members from SanFrancisco,CA. What a powerful reminder of what happens when purpose, passion, and service come together.

For 50 years, women across this region have dedicated themselves to uplifting women and girls, advocating for education, empowerment, and opportunity. Being surrounded by so many dynamic, visionary women reminded me that service is not just about what we do—it’s about the legacy we leave behind.

The laughter, the fellowship, the shared stories, and the commitment to making a difference made this celebration truly unforgettable. Moments like these remind us that when women support women, communities change, lives transform, and futures are rewritten.
