What if the feeling that there’s “not enough” isn’t actually true—but something you’ve been taught to believe?
And what might shift if your relationship with money became rooted in sufficiency instead of scarcity?
What if scarcity isn’t a reality—but a story we’ve all been living inside?
In this episode, sits down with Lynne Twist and Sara Vetter for an expansive conversation —about money, purpose, and what it means to create a different future for our planet.
We explore the idea that the dominant paradigm we’ve been operating in—the belief that there’s not enough, that we have to compete, that someone will inevitably be left out—is actually a lie. And how that belief shapes not only our financial lives, but the way we relate to each other and the world.
I share my decades of work in global philanthropy and the profound realization that people living in conditions of hunger are not “less than”—that what’s lacking is not their worth, but their circumstances. And Sara opens up about her own journey from external success and privilege into a deeper, more meaningful relationship with money and purpose.
We talk about sufficiency—not as a number, but as a state of being. We explore what happens when we shift from accumulation to contribution, from fear to trust, and from isolation to connection.
This conversation is ultimately an invitation to look at your own relationship with money—and to consider the possibility that true wealth lives not in what you have, but in how you engage with your life.
“The paradigm of scarcity—that there’s not enough to go around—is a lie.” –Lynne Twist
“Money does not bring you happiness.” –Sara Vetter

Something I don't talk about enough: there's a version of leading that looks successful from the outside and feels completely disconnected on the inside.
Women tell us that the Soul of Money teachings have given them more freedom around money than anything else they've ever tried. And what we've discovered is that the missing piece — the reason it doesn't always stick — is the body.
That's exactly why Stephanie Redlener and I — alongside the legendary Lynne Twist — created The Embodied Woman.
It's a four-day retreat for women who lead. Not a conference. Not a workshop. A carefully curated circle of visionaries, entrepreneurs, and changemakers ready to stop performing their leadership and start inhabiting it. ❤
We're bringing together the Soul of Money teachings on sufficiency and power with Stephanie's 20+ years of embodiment expertise — somatic practices, nervous system tools, sensuality, sacred ritual — at the breathtaking Akera sanctuary in the Catskills.

You’ve been leading. But are you living?
Most women in leadership have mastered the art of showing up. 🙌
Prepared. Polished. Holding it all together.
But there’s a difference between performing presence and actually having it.
Real presence — the kind that shifts a room, that makes people trust you before you’ve said a word — doesn’t come from strategy- It comes from sufficiency.
From a woman who knows she is enough. Who leads not from scarcity or proving, but from a body that is grounded, alive, and deeply her own.
The Soul of Money teaches us that scarcity is a lie we’ve been sold. That enough is not a number — it’s a felt sense. And when a woman embodies that truth? Everything changes.
How she leads. How she speaks. How she takes up space.
Sara Vetter and Stephanie Redlener are going live to talk about exactly this — the intersection of embodied leadership, sufficiency, and what it means to show up with your whole self, not just your credentials.

What's alive in you right now?
The world feels unsteady right now.
For women especially, something has shifted — and not in the direction we hoped. Rights feel uncertain. Voices feel smaller. The ground beneath us less solid.
And yet the response we're handed is still the same:
Better skin. Better hair. Better lighting.
A $500 billion industry still selling women the idea that looking better is the answer to feeling powerless.
It's not.
The most magnetic women in any room aren't the most polished. They're the most present. 🔥
They walk in and something shifts. They take up space without apology. They trust themselves when the world gives them every reason not to.
That's not appearance. That's aliveness.
And it's something that can't be bought — but it can be reclaimed.
When a woman is rooted in her body, connected to her instincts, and in relationship with her own power — she becomes someone the world can't easily dismiss.

Our role as midwives is upon us.
The choices we make now will impact the future of life for at least a hundred years, and hopefully a thousand.
We have the opportunity to play a historic role that future generations may look back on as pivotal in meeting this crisis and turning it around. This is not a burden; it is an ennobling call to participate in the evolutionary leap that is being asked of us now.
I know that can sound like an enormous challenge. What, practically speaking, does it ask of us?
What came to me in the rainforest was this: we earthlings are being invited to see ourselves in the long view, to acknowledge the dangers and urgency of the present moment while committing ourselves to creating a future grounded in harmony and responsibility toward the natural world and the entire community of life. It begins with becoming aware of the constant attractions and distractions of modernity, the belief that the world can be known, managed, and improved by human reason alone; that tomorrow must always outperform yesterday; that we are entitled to more and more and more.
Instead, we can choose to pay attention to the rhythms and harmony of Nature. We can wake with the birds and the sunrise, perhaps even watch it come over the horizon. We can find moments during our day to slow down, breathe consciously, and notice whatever aspect of Nature is available to us, or even imaginable. Maybe it’s watching clouds passing overhead or feeling a soft breeze on your face. Maybe it’s savoring a child’s laughter or holding a friend’s tears. (Nature includes us humans too, you know.)
You might say quietly to yourself, I am part of this. I am a protector of all of life.
As we attune ourselves more deeply to the natural world, we can ask more of ourselves. And we can ask more of Pachamama, of the Earth, the Universe, and All Time: Who are called to be, and what are we called to do? Then we listen.
And perhaps, through the clamor and contentiousness of these times, we will begin to hear a soft voice, gently leading us further along our path of service.

We just returned from the sacred headwaters of the Amazon Rainforest and I am still being worked by it.
This wasn’t a trip.
It was a remembering.
Deep in one of the most pristine, untouched, vital forests left on Earth — the headwaters that feed the Amazon River and, quite literally- feed life itself.
Lynne Twist and I had the profound honor of journeying alongside an extraordinary group of humans with the Pachamama Alliance
What happens when you step out of convenience, WiFi, certainty, and control and step into ancient intelligence, living systems, humility, and awe?
🍃You remember who you are.
👉The forest doesn’t care about your résumé.
It doesn’t negotiate with your ego.
It doesn’t rush.
It doesn’t perform.
It initiates. 🫶
I watched people soften, crack open, weep, laugh, listen differently, and come home to themselves — not in some Instagrammable way, but in the deep, cellular way that changes how you live once you return.
The Amazon is not “out there.”
She is in our lungs.
our blood.
our breath.
She lives in our present and in our future.
And here’s the truth I’ll say plainly, because it needs saying:
You cannot truly defend what you have not fallen in love with. 💔
This journey isn’t about saving the rainforest.
It’s about remembering our interdependence with all life — and letting that truth reorder our choices, our money, our leadership, and our courage.
I am endlessly grateful to the Indigenous wisdom keepers who welcomed us, to Pachamama Alliance for protecting what must be protected, and to every traveler who said yes to being changed.
We didn’t come back with answers.
We came back with responsibility.
And honestly?
There is no going back once the forest 🌳 has your heart.♥️
