Currently we offer one 5-unit elementary language class during the day, Russian 1 in the fall and Russian 2 in the spring, and four 3-unit classes, generally in the evening, oriented toward both non-native speakers of Russian and heritage learners. Heritage learners concentrate primarily on improving their writing skills. Our four conversation classes are oriented toward acquiring practical experti

Our culture class provides background in Russian art, history, literature, music, religion, cinema, and features of everyday life, as well as Russia's relations with the surrounding world. Our literature courses discuss the great poets and novelists of the last two centuries.
