We want to send a big THANK YOU to the parent volunteers and city organizations that made our Environmental Fair so special, and especially to our wonderful event planning team of Ms. Paping and Ms. Truong! We couldn't have done it without your hands-on help and expertise.

Now, it's time to recharge. Wishing all our families a very happy, sun-filled Spring Break! We will see everyone back at school on Monday, April 6th!

A huge, heartfelt THANK YOU to our wonderful Talent Show Lead, Christa, for pouring so much heart into this event year after year. With her son graduating this year, we are officially looking for a new lead (or a dream team!) for next year. Want to keep the tradition alive? Grab a friend and co-lead as a committee! It’s a front-row seat to the best show in town. 🌟

Adventure awaits! Our 4th graders are officially off to Nature Bridge! 🌲✨

We are so excited for our explorers to dive into the beauty of the Marin Headlands. From hiking the coastal trails to discovering tide pools, we hope they have the best time bonding and learning in the great outdoors. 🌊⛰️

🌟 5th Grade Kickball Team! 🌟

Our 5th graders hit the road/Muni for their very first kickball game at Lafayette Elementary today, and what a start to the season! Beyond the runs, catches, and high fives, our students got to enjoy popsicles with new friends and represented Sunset with such great heart and joy. Thank you so much
for welcoming us!

📚 Readathon Success! 🎉

Our first-ever Readathon was a huge hit! A massive thank you to our incredible chairs for raising funds while getting our students so fired up about reading. We also want to send a heartfelt shoutout to and our generous donors for the amazing bingo raffle prizes!

🏆 Special Congrats: To our Kindergarten class for having the most participants! Get ready—there’s a celebration party in your future! 🎈

We had a very special guest yesterday — Sidney Siu, Miss Chinatown USA! 👑 Sidney shared a festive Lunar New Year story, talked about her role as a community leader (and kung fu expert!) and led a fun red envelope activity. The students loved learning how these "hong bao" symbolize good luck and well wishes for the year ahead.

5th graders hit the links this morning with 's Course to Classroom Program to work on their game and their confidence. We are so proud of these students for leaning into new challenges today!

Celebrated Lunar New Year today with incredible opening acts by our very own Everyday Mandarin students followed by the amazing performers from who took the stage for an unforgettable Lion Dance! 🦁🥁

We were honored to host filmmaker Josh Chuck on Friday for a very special assembly. As co-director/producer of , Josh shared his incredible journey in creating this film alongside his father and gave our students a front-row seat to the rich history of SF's Chinatown, its contribution to the Asian American Movement, and how many of those conversations remain relevant today.
