We are happy to support public education through a partnership with Starr King Elementary in Potrero Hill. Come in now through the end of the month and order our famous chicken liver pate, and we'll donate a portion of sales to support the kids at Starr King.

Starr King Elementary Spring Fling 2020 Spring Fling is Starr King’s second major fundraiser of the year— this year will be an online auction and then a live auction event the whole family can join!

WAY TO GO STARR KING - WE DID IT! $226,472 ... and counting...

CONGRATULATIONS to everyone! WE DID IT!

While we won’t know the exact amount raised from this year’s ASK campaign for several weeks (corporate matches will come in through January 2019), we DO KNOW that we made it over our goal of raising $225,000 to fund staff, resources and programming that benefits the entire school!

A HUGE THANK YOU TO EVERYONE IN THE STARR KING COMMUNITY!
This year we surpassed previous years in amount raised and the number of donations/people participating. The support of this school by the families and friends of this school--not just during the ASK but many other ways--is humbling and inspiring.

3 days left to our fall fundraising campaign!

We are so thankful for the generosity and spirit of our community!

We have raised $217,792 out of $225,000 AND we’ve increased our participation rate over last year!

This is our final push to ask those who have not yet had a chance to donate or pledge this week.We are striving towards our goal of 100% participation and $225,000. Any level of giving is important whether it’s $1, $100 or $1000.

You can donate online through this FB page or PayPal Giving (we get 1% match from thru 12/31/18!); drop off cash or a check to the school office (1215 Carolina Street, San Francisco CA 94104); or donate stock (go to www.starrkingschool.org/donating for more details).

If a different timing works better for you (or your company for employer matching) you can pledge by just shooting us an email by Friday to let us know the amount and timing of the contribution that will work for you.

Also, guess what? Remember the 100% match that was being offered on Giving Tuesday (Nov. 27th) by Facebook and PayPal Giving that kicked off at 5am and quickly maxed out?We wanted to share the GREAT NEWS that 2 of our parents, whose donations that day clocked in before 5:01am(!), got confirmation that they made it through before the match maxed out and got the 100% match from PayPal Giving.

We are overwhelmed by the outpouring of support you all showed us last week on and beyond.

We have now raised about $182,000 of our $225,000 goal with 2 weeks left to go to our fall fundraising "ASK" campaign.

Sorry to continue to ask but we are not there yet, so onward and upward! :) If you’ve been thinking about donating but have not yet done so, WE STILL NEED YOU to get closer to our goal of 100% participation and $225,000 this year!

Sorry if this seems confusing. But we just heard from a parent that PayPal has already maxed out on the $500,000 limit for their dollar for dollar match. They will still match 1% of all donations thru 12/31/18.

HOWEVER, we still have a chance for 100% match if you donate through Facebook. Facebook's cap for their match is $7 million. This may seem like a lot but usually they will still probably max out in a few hours because every non-profit in the universe is trying to get these donations too.

Starr King Elementary School PTA (San Francisco) Starr King is the most ethnically and socio-economically diverse public school in San Francisco. The PTA provides volunteer and fundraising support.

NEWS FLASH: Tomorrow on , PayPal Giving will match dollar for dollar all donations starting at 5am PST to 11:59pm OR up until they hit their $500,000 limit.
