SPRING UPDATE: Your Tutor SF is happy to report that our tutoring scholarships have been going to good use!
Of the 188 hours of tutoring raised during our Fall 2013 fundraising campaign, 117 hours (or 62% of funds) have gone towards providing our services to low-income families this year. At the current schedule of 7 client sessions per week, we expect to fulfill all 188 hours by mid-May. Thank you again to everyone who has made this possible!

“Emphasizing effort gives a child a variable that they can control ... They come to see themselves as in control of their success. Emphasizing natural intelligence takes it out of the child’s control, and it provides no good recipe for responding to a failure.”

Good news for students who struggle in math! Contrary to popular belief, some people are not "born" math/science people. Instead, success is primarily a function of exposure.
Work with Your Tutor S.F. to improve your students' math skills! We are here to help.
