Daly Preschool and Extended Care

Our team of early-childhood educators strives to provide quality care in supporting the early child and adolescent development of our youth. In facilitating safe spaces for social and emotional interaction and development, youth are able to quench their curiosity and explore their new world through art, music, science experiments, friendships, holiday celebrations, birthday parties, and field trips. Our facility operates Monday-Friday, excluding holidays, from 7:30am-6:00pm.

Daly Preschool and Extended Care offers daycare services for youth as young as 18months, a Preschool program for youth 3 years old (operates MWF), and a transitional Pre-K program for 4-5 year old youth who will either enter a T-K program or kindergarten (operates M through F). Classes consist of age-appropriate lessons that align with California State Standards for early childhood education and that engage youth to adapt into a classroom environment in a manner that is exciting and fun. Classroom sizes and educator-student ratios are 1:5, enabling close supervision and support to meet each student’s unique needs.

School operates from 9:00am to 12:00pm. If needed, extended care till 6:00pm is offered. Educators have prior experience in preschool settings, ECE units, and/or bachelor degrees in related fields.

Breakfast, snack, and lunch meals are provided and included for all. Dietary restrictions and food allergies are always taken into account and accommodations can be made upon request. Breakfast consists of cereal and a fruit platter that is offered from 7:30am-9:00am. Snack consists of fruit, crackers, graham crackers, pretzels, yogurt etc. Hot lunch consists of an alternating menu of mac n cheese and chicken nuggets, spaghetti, meatballs, and garlic bread, quesadillas, hot dogs and french fries, pizza, and other special options during holiday celebrations. Lunch is served at 12:00pm-12:30pm.
