We are hosting a meet-and-greet for USF veterans (students, alumni, and faculty are all welcome) this Thursday, April 24th, from 4:30 - 5:30 pm in CASA UC 305. This event will be casual and is meant to increase communication between veterans, and gather feedback about how to make USF a positive and successful experience for veterans. This also gives us a chance to consider restarting the USF veterans group, which currently is not officially registered with the school.

Please RSVP by responding here and encourage other USF veterans to attend. Coffee and snacks will be provided.

General James N. Mattis, USMC (Ret.), the former Commander of the US Central Command, will speak at the 3rd Annual Salute to Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans on April 23, admission to the event is free, for more info, check out the link below.

The Marines’ Memorial Association will award 22 scholarships for the 2014-2015 academic year. Two of the scholarships are for $10,000 each and ten scholarships are for $5,000 each. The remainder are for $2,500 each. Eligibility requirements differ for each scholarship, all applications deadline is April 23rd.
