We are bringing the Halloween magic to Visitacion Valley! 🍬 Gather your family, put on your favorite costumes, and join us for a neighborhood celebration full of music, family activities, pizza, community connections, and festive fun! 🦇

🌊 A little sand, lots of sunshine, and a day FULL of FCC teamwork! 🐢🦅🐾🐇
 
This Indigenous Peoples’ Day, our FCC staff gathered at the beautiful Marin Headlands for our annual Staff Retreat. We treasure these retreats: time to reflect on our impact and work together, reconnect with our values and purpose, and recharge for the year ahead. 💙
 
Opening the day with thoughtful discussions and team-building activities, then easing into a gentle hike to Pt. Bonita Lighthouse, guided by our Executive Director! We closed out with a very serious sandcastle competition at Rodeo Beach, and left feeling grounded and excited to continue growing together 🫰
 
A HUGE thank you to NatureBridge for welcoming us back each year and to our incredible staff for the heart they bring to our communities every day! 🌱



🌊 ¡Un poco de arena, mucho sol y un día LLENO de trabajo en equipo de la FCC! 🐢🦅🐾🐇

Este Día de los Pueblos Indígenas, nuestro personal de la FCC se reunió en las hermosas cabeceras de Marin para nuestro retiro anual del personal. Atesoramos estos retiros: tiempo para reflexionar sobre nuestro impacto y trabajar juntos, reconectar con nuestros valores y propósito, y recargar energías para el próximo año. 💙

Abriendo el día con discusiones reflexivas y actividades de formación de equipos, luego facilitando una suave caminata a Pt. ¡Faro de Bonita, guiado por nuestro Director Ejecutivo! Cerramos con una competencia muy seria de castillos de arena en Rodeo Beach, y nos fuimos sintiéndonos conectados a tierra y emocionados de seguir creciendo juntos 🫰

¡Un ENORME agradecimiento a NatureBridge por darnos la bienvenida cada año y a nuestro increíble personal por el corazón que traen a nuestras comunidades todos los días! 🌱

🎂Four years of floppy ears & fluffy faces🐰

Our beloved bunnies celebrated their birthday this week with a special treat made by our Pre-K friends - a bunny-friendly apple cake with banana frosting!

The children also sang them a sweet birthday song and made a special poster to mark the occasion. 🎈

We’re so grateful to our friends at FACES SF for helping these little guys find their way to way to FCC four years ago…. and for all the joy they’ve brought to our centers since!

🎂 ¡Cuatro años de orejas caídas y caritas peluditas! 🐰

¡Nuestros queridos conejitos celebraron su cumpleaños esta semana con un regalo muy especial preparado por nuestros amigos de Pre-K: un pastel apto para conejitos hecho con manzana y cubierto con glaseado de plátano!

Los niños también les cantaron una dulce canción de cumpleaños y prepararon un póster especial para celebrar la ocasión. 🎈

Estamos muy agradecidos con nuestros amigos de FACES SF por ayudar a que estos pequeños llegaran a FCC hace cuatro años… ¡y por toda la alegría que han traído a nuestros centros desde entonces!

🎂 四年來，陪伴我們的垂耳和毛茸茸的小臉！ 🐰

我們心愛的兔兔們本週慶祝了牠們的生日！Pre-K 的孩子們特別為牠們準備了兔兔可以享用的蘋果蛋糕，還加上香蕉奶油糖霜！

孩子們也為牠們唱了一首可愛的生日歌，並製作了一張特別的海報來慶祝這個日子。🎈

我們非常感謝 FACES SF 的朋友們，四年前幫助這兩個小傢伙來到 FCC……也感謝牠們從那時起為我們的中心帶來這麼多歡樂！

🎂 Bốn năm với đôi tai cụp đáng yêu và những khuôn mặt đầy lông mềm mại! 🐰

Những chú thỏ thân yêu của chúng tôi đã đón sinh nhật trong tuần này với một món quà đặc biệt do các bạn nhỏ Pre-K chuẩn bị — một chiếc bánh táo dành riêng cho thỏ với lớp kem chuối!

Các em nhỏ cũng hát tặng những chú thỏ một bài hát sinh nhật thật đáng yêu và làm một tấm áp phích đặc biệt để đánh dấu dịp này. 🎈

Chúng tôi vô cùng biết ơn những người bạn tại FACES SF đã giúp những người bạn nhỏ này đến với FCC cách đây bốn năm… và mang thật nhiều niềm vui đến các trung tâm của chúng tôi kể từ đó!

En Family Connections Centers, celebramos a las familias, cuidadores, educadores, tradiciones, idiomas e historias que fortalecen a nuestras comunidades.

Desde esos primeros pasos de la primera infancia hasta los muchos capítulos de la edad adulta y la crianza de los hijos, la familia y la comunidad están en el corazón de todo lo que hacemos.

Este septiembre, estamos orgullosos de celebrar a las muchas familias hispanas y latinas que forman parte de nuestra comunidad, y la cultura, historia, voces, recetas y tradiciones que traen consigo.

That’s a LOT of diaper changes - and even more moments of support for families in our community. 🧷💙

Diapers are a basic need, but they can also be a big expense. For families with babies and toddlers, that monthly cost adds up quickly.

That’s why we’re so grateful for our partnership with Help a Mother Out , which helps make our FREE Diaper Bank possible.

Through this partnership, FCC provides diapers to eligible CalWORKs, CalFresh, and Medi-Cal families with children under 2.

Los pañales son una necesidad básica, pero también pueden ser un gran gasto. Para las familias con bebés y niños pequeños, ese costo mensual se suma rápidamente.

Es por eso que estamos muy agradecidos por nuestra asociación con Help a Mother Out, que ayuda a que nuestro Banco de Pañales GRATIS sea posible.

A través de esta asociación, FCC proporciona pañales a familias elegibles de CalWORK, CalFresh y Medi-Cal con niños menores de 2 años.
