📚 SFUSD enrollment season is almost here!

Planning for the 2027–28 school year? SFUSD applications open October 23 and are due February 1, 2027.

Families applying for any grade are invited to the SFUSD Enrollment Fair from 10am to 2pm on Saturday, October 24 at the Moscone Center!

This Latinx/Hispanic Heritage Month, we're proud to share the story of José A. Rodríguez, Chief Human Resources Officer at Children's Council.

José talks about his upbringing in Puerto Rico, the values his family passed down, and a turning point in his career that changed how he sees identity and leadership. He also offers encouragement to Hispanic and Latinx professionals pursuing leadership roles.

Join Children's Council of San Francisco online on Thursday, October 15 from 6-7pm for a free workshop to learn more about the San Francisco Department of Early Childhood's (DEC) Early Learning for All (ELFA) program and the new Parent Portal families can use to navigate their child care journey.

Join the SF Pregnancy Family Village every 2nd Saturday at the Bayview YMCA on Saturday, October 10 from 12-3pm for a free event celebrating birth, families and community.

The event includes live music, art, yoga, massages, haircuts and a free lunch from 12-1pm. Families will also have access to clinical care, maternity clothes, a labor & birth circle, Fatherhood Lounge and post-partum support.💙

Families who are pregnant or postpartum can also receive a free Lyft ride if they live in the city of San Francisco. Please email [email protected] for details.

On Tuesday, September 22, Children’s Council of San Francisco’s Board of Directors and Executive Leadership team gathered at the San Francisco W**e Society to officially welcome Denise Ma**ca, Children’s Council’s new Chief of Philanthropy.

Denise will lead a comprehensive, multi-channel fundraising strategy ensuring Children's Council's fundraising programs are robust, data-driven and aligned with its mission and strategic priorities.
