On June 11, 2026, we packed Reality SF to celebrate this year's Mission Graduates high school and college graduates. Students got on stage and shared their journeys. Parents watched from the audience. And we all got to celebrate together.

Huge thank you to San Francisco Assessor-Recorder Joaquin Torres for a powerful keynote, and to every student who trusted us with their story. And to the families, teachers, writing partners, mentors, and community who filled that room on a Thursday night: you're the reason any of this works.

De aquí, pa'lante — from here, forward.

Ben Crump - June is here, and this month marks a poignant reminder that more than 250,000 enslaved Black people in Texas were not informed of their freedom until June 19, 1865, more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation. Throughout this month and beyond, we honor the resilience and perseverance of those who endured unimaginable injustice!

🍎 Parents as First Teachers! As part of our monthly parent programming, we presented on Professional Development and highlighted the influence and impact of parents, Family members, and Caregivers, who have set the foundation for their students' success! Parents & Students got to share the skills they learned from their parents/caregivers & set goals together 🙌🏽
