This MLK Day Education Outside staff and CaliforniaVolunteers/AmeriCorps instructors spent the holiday at Heron’s Head Park and Lake Merritt Channel Park cleaning trash, removing invasive species, and renovating local tidal ecosystems. We opted for a to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., our commitment to the environment, and our connection to all partner communities. 👫🌱
