Our Grade 11 Economics and Environmental Studies students took a field trip to the Wastewater Treatment Plant in West Oakland. This site treats residential wastewater from cities ranging from Oakland, Berkeley, Alameda, Piedmont, Albany, and Richmond Annex, among others. They learned how the plant produces and captures methane gas (CH4), using it to generate energy that makes the site Zero Waste AND allows them to sell energy to their neighbors.

Friday was our High School Prom! It was such a fun event with dancing, laughing, snacks, and, of course, incredible outfits! Thank you to the High School team for organizing this fantastic "Casino Royale"-themed dance for our students..

It was so incredible to honor our High School seniors with the annual Senior Walk! As they approach the end of their time at International, it is so beautiful to gather as a school and celebrate all they have accomplished during their time here.

Thank you to everyone who attended the Spring Concert at SFJAZZ on Monday! This was an amazing event with so many talented musicians. It was wonderful to see students, faculty, and staff all performing on stage.

Fan Jam was amazing! So much school spirit and some incredible competitive games from our Volleyball and Lacrosse teams!

With our travelers back home from their Global Travel trips, we want to thank our amazing chaperones! It was incredible to see our students interact with faculty and staff not only outside the normal school setting but also outside the country! Thank you, chaperones, for guiding our students on these incredible trips and facilitating learning, exploration, and safety.

Our students are deep into their Global Travel trips and are experiencing culture, nature, food, history, and so much more!
