🎓 Yesterday, we said goodbye to our Class of 2026, and our hearts are still full.
Our Head of School reminded us of what makes Lycée students extraordinary: the rare ability to truly understand and connect across cultures. The Consul General of France Valérie BRISSET celebrated their place in the global family 🌍 And our guest of honor Taha ZINIFI left us all inspired: curiosity, he reminded us, is everything. Think big. Stay open. 💡
Our seniors took the stage and gave speeches that moved us to tears: thanking their families, their teachers, la Vie Scolaire 🙌, and the community that shaped them into who they are today.
As our High School Principal Ms. BAILEY said: you are ready for the world, and we're counting on you. We already miss you. Go get it, Class of 2026. The world is yours. 💙🎓

Yesterday, our Gr8 students graduated! 🎓✨
The speeches from their teachers were a beautiful reminder of just how deeply these kids are known and loved. And hearing the students speak for each class? It was funny, heartwarming and creative.
One thing kept coming up again and again: the Global Learning Trips. The adventures, the growth, the friendships forged far from home. Middle School was full of memories they will never forget.
Dear Gr8s, we are so proud of you! Whatever comes next, you're ready. 🤩

This week, our graduating seniors were welcomed to the Résidence de France in San Francisco to celebrate the completion of their French academic journey, just days before Commencement. It is a gesture that speaks volumes: these young men and women are not simply finishing school. They are leaving as bilingual, bicultural individuals, shaped by two languages, two intellectual traditions, and a profound understanding of what it means to bridge cultures rather than simply navigate between them.
The franco-american friendship is not an abstraction at the Lycée. It lives in our classrooms, in our communities, and today, in the remarkable young people we have the privilege of sending into the world.
Our deepest thanks to the Résidence de France for this elegant and generous tribute. And to the Class of 2026 we could not be more proud.

Our Gr2 students from both the Ashbury and Sausalito campuses came together last week for a wonderful dance performance at the Ortega auditorium. It was a joyful celebration of movement, creativity, and the collaborative spirit that unites our campuses!💃
This beautiful production brought around 60 students to the stage, filling the room with unforgettable energy. From the playful choreography to the creative costumes, it was an absolute visual feast and a treat for the audience! 🌟

What do you do when there's no easy answer? 🌎️
As Arctic ice melts, new maritime shipping routes are opening up and vast natural resources (oil, gas, rare minerals) are becoming accessible for the first time. So, what should the world do with them?
To come up with answers, our Gr8 students, joined by their peers from the Silicon Valley International School, followed the "cartographie des controverses", a teaching method developed by philosopher Bruno LATOUR. Each student took on a real-world role, such as energy executive, environmental activist, indigenous community representative, or political leader, and argued from that perspective in a round table simulation. The goal was simply to listen, understand, and map out just how complex the issue really is.
Because learning how to think is just as important as learning what to think. 🧊
