Been reading a new book, “Master Your Code” by my friend and colleague, Darren Gold, and I’m reminded of how powerful, pervasive, and persuasive our personal narratives are. If you’re at all interested in leading an examined life and challenging your limiting beliefs, I would highly recommend this book.

I frequently have conversations with my clients about how long it takes to form new habits, or replace old ones. Conventional wisdom suggests it's 21 days, and that's just not so. James' recent post helps break down where this myth comes from, and what you can actually expect.

Remembering that it's about the process, not about perfection, helps make habit change manageable.
