Every other Friday, we gather to discuss a different theme en français, the perfect way to practice your French while discovering more about Francophone cultures in a welcoming atmosphere.

🤔 Ever heard a French person say, “Faut pas pousser !” and wondered what it meant?

It’s not about literally pushing someone! 😄

👉 Faut pas pousser !

It means:
🙅 “Don’t push it!”
⚠️ “Don’t overdo it!”
😅 “Now you’re asking for too much!”

French people use it when someone is going a bit too far or testing someone’s patience.

💬 Example:
Tu veux aussi que je fasse tes devoirs ? Faut pas pousser !
➡️ You want me to do your homework too? Don’t push it!
