The 3rd annual Ophthalmology microsurgery lab for medical students is underway!!
It's that time of the year!....Coming again this fall: Introduction to Ophthalmology Noon Lecture series via Zoom. There will be 10 weekly didactic sessions Tuesdays at noon beginning Sept 28. Please check out our VOIG website for more information.
Reminder: We are going to be holding an informational session about the American Academy of Ophthalmology Minority Ophthalmology Mentoring Program this Thursday, Feb 11 at 4:30 pm. The Minority Ophthalmology Mentoring program is wonderful program developed to increase diversity in the field of ophthalmology by helping underrepresented in medicine (URiM) students become competitive ophthalmology residency applicants. This is truly an excellent opportunity and is geared towards 1st and 2nd year medical students. We encourage URiM students interested in ophthalmology to consider applying.
