The Composition for Multilingual Students (CMS) Program serves San Francisco State University non-na citizens who have been in the U.S.
The Composition for Multilingual Students (CMS) Program serves students enrolled at San Francisco State University who are non-native speakers of English. The CMS Program offers courses that fulfill SFSU's graduation requirements for written and oral communication; we offer equivalent classes for first- and second-year composition, in addition to literacy skills, grammar, and other courses. Taking the CMSPT make-up exam tomorrow? Here's how you can best prepare yourself:
1) Make sure you have registered on our page: http://cmls.sfsu.edu/cmspt. You will get a confirmation email after you have registered.
2) Make sure you have paid for the test: http://www.sfsu.edu/~testing. You will get a receipt.
3) Bring your confirmation email and receipt (printouts or be able to display on your phone/iPad) with you to the test.
4) Bring a pencil and a photo ID.
5) Bring patience and don't be late! We check all documents by hand; all test-takers go through the check-in line before being assigned a testing room.
REMINDER: All students please arrive to HUM 112 at 12:30 p.m. to check-in. Best of luck!
