Trader Joe’s fall foods + comfy jammies + a group of mom friends = my kind of gno 🤪 🍂

one of my friends Jenna Uyeyama hosted a TJ’s & PJs night last weekend and it was so good to hang with fellow moms while dad took the bedtime shift! ☺️ we actually got to catch up without pausing our convos 100x 🤣 I can love bedtime routine with my boys AND enjoy taking a break 🤍

confession.. I rarely, rarelyyy ever shop at Trader Joe’s & now I need to know what else I need to try?!? 🛒

I went through Pumpkins After Dark from a mom’s POV so you don’t have to wonder about all these little details before you go 🫶🏼

This new Halloween event checks A LOT of “family-friendly” boxes! 🎃

Stroller-friendly* ✔️
Spooky, not scary* ✔️

Bathrooms* ✔️

*some notes for my fellow moms with littleee littles:
• while the path is stroller friendly, it can definitely be bumpy at parts because it’s dirt/rock
• “scary” is subjective; you know your babies best. There are no jump scares, but there are some spooky scenes, loud music, and fog machines. I’d recommend the sensory friendly hour at 6:30pm on 10/8 — it’s lighter out, less busy, and they scale back the lights, sounds, and effects
• still pack your own snacks b/c toddler life
• bathrooms are porta-potties and there are no changing tables, so plan accordingly

what’s in my boys’ boo baskets this year! 👻🎃

traditions like these are one of my favorite parts about being a mom 🫶🏼 I reuse their Halloween baskets each year and try to fill them with things they’ll actually use; this year’s baskets include books, jammies, toys, snacks, & a craft we can do together! 🧡
