Kal Penn is heading to the Hilltop! USF students, faculty, and staff have free admission to the latest Silk Speaker Series event on April 14.
๐๏ธ In film and TV, Penn starred in the Harold & Kumar franchise, Designated Survivor, House, and Sunnyside โ and was a recent guest host of the Daily Show.
๐บ๐ธ In 2009, he was named the White Associate Director of the White House Office of Public Engagement in the Obama Administration, where he served as the Presidentโs Liaison to Young Americans, Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders, and the Arts community. In this role, he worked on the repeal of Donโt Ask, Donโt Tell, the Affordable Care Act, Pell Grants, arts and culture programs, the DREAM Act, and rapid response to the BP Oil Spill and earthquake in Haiti.

The ASUSF Senate called for a special election where all members of the Associated Students of the University of San Francisco (ASUSF) can vote on the proposed increase in the ASUSF Student Activity Fee. Vote by 5 p.m. on Monday, March 6.
All voting will take place online. Vote online from any computer with the instructions that follow. It's your school, your voice, your vote!

ORG SPOTLIGHT๐คฉ: Hawaiian Ensemble
Aloha! We are a campus organization dedicated to promoting and perpetuating Hawaiian cultural traditions through mele (song), hula (dance), cultural workshops, and สปลlelo Hawaiโi (language). Hawaiian Ensemble was formed as a way of spreading awareness of Hawaiian culture to Hawaiians and non-Hawaiians alike thereby preserving the culture and stories that we are so proud of. We support a welcoming atmosphere where students can share knowledge of Hawaiian culture by educating others about hula and breaking traditional stereotypes.
