With the new schoolyear well under way, we would like to thank Dr. Theresa Roeder for her service as department chair over the last three years, and to welcome Dr. Leyla Ozsen as our new chair!

Many congratulations to Prof. Julia Miyaoka for being selected as a Lam-Larsen Distinguished Teaching Professor! It is an extremely well-deserved honor and maintains the department's streak of having a Distinguished Teaching Professor since the award's inception.

We are so proud of our DS honoree, Ariana Rios Aguiar! Since she is part of our Scholar's Program, we will still have the opportunity to work with her next year, as she finishes her MSBA with us.
