Families taking action. ✨✊🏽✨

“ We mothers—we who tend the sacred veil between life and death— know how to harness our grief and rage and channel it into power. This is the time for that. This is the time for us to gather our people and work our alchemy—to channel it into collective, heart-centered action.
I want us to stretch our organizing muscles together.
I’m starting local. In collaboration with a fellow mother, Kelly, who runs Artillery AG & Ceramics, we are beginning with a family-friendly gathering this Sunday from 11-1pm. If you’re in the Bay Area, come join us. If you want to help, we could use your hands and heart. Just reach out. We’re running this event from our own pockets, so if you have means to help cover costs, that would also be hugely helpful.
If you’re not local to the Bay Area—I would love for you to gather your people and organize a sister event. I am happy to share tools and resources. If anyone wants to do to this, I can start a discord channel for resources sharing. Just email me your interest and I can add you.
Thanks to those who’ve made art so far—that was quick and amazing work. I’ll share some of it below. Artists gave permission to share and use widely—feel free to share on instagram or socials or turn them into screenprinting screens for local events (which is what we’ll be doing).”
