Fakir Body Piercing Intensive Workshops

We continually update our courses and materials to inspire and motivate the next generation of body artists. Fakir Musafar, a Master Piercer and Shaman with over 40 years experience in the body arts, built a legacy by championing ancient practices while co-developing many of the techniques used in modern body piercing and branding. His personal explorations began in 1948, and continued on through the '70s and '80s in collaboration with contemporary body piercers in North America and Europe. Fakir created these Fakir Intensives workshops in 1991, and spent nearly three decades instructing and refining an approach for teaching safe, sophisticated, and spiritual body piercing and branding. He truly earned his title: "Father of the Modern Primitive Movement". Fakir's body piercing workshops are the only comprehensive courses of instruction available today for those who would prepare themselves to do skilled, safe, aesthetically pleasing, and sophisticated body piercing. All courses are intensive, one-on-one instruction tailored to the individual student. Classes are limited to twelve or fewer students with the serious attention of experienced instructors. Upon completion of courses, attendees recieve an attractive certificate to validate attendance and indicate their exposure to sophisticated skills. Course materials include all necessary tools & supplies and a workbook with drawings, diagrams, and information on technique, aesthetics, special considerations, health & safety, and aftercare. Attendance requires students to spend anywhere from two to five days in the San Francisco Area.
