Our final two weeks were filled with laughter, adventure and core memories! 😄

GB ISLA Summer Camp Recap Series for Weeks 5 & 6: Isla ng Kabutihan (Creating Waves of Kindness and Stewardship)! 💚

These weeks were filled with meaningful activities, field trips and hands on learning as our students explored how to care for our earth and one another. From an epic beach clean up to disaster preparedness workshops, these weeks were empowering, engaging and full of purpose. ✨

We also hosted our super fun “ISLA Kultura at Kusina” Summer Learning Day event featuring Kultura Stations with traditional Filipino musical instruments and patintero, and Kusina Stations with ube pancakes and macapuno balls. 😋

Huge thank you to Ate Faye and the amazing team at the SF Department of Emergency Management for leading culturally responsive disaster preparedness workshops for our students. Maraming salamat po!🫶🏼
