Self-Regulation/Modulation games are super fun and easy to play AND they have lots of benefits for learning self-regulation skills, self-awareness, impulse control, body awareness, and so much more!

There are so many strategies to support language development in children. Recasting strategies work by repeating back and building on the words the child is already saying, here are two of them: Expansion, and Expansion Plus.

When children are upset, or dysregulated, it can be hard for them to regulate. Often, they need our help! To support children in developing the skills necessary to self-regulate, they often need to be taught what options they have! Visuals like a Choice Board are a great tool to organize and display options for children.
