Image 1: A title page saying "July is Disability Pride Month" in front of the Disability Pride flag: a gray-black background with green, blue, white, yellow, and red diagonal stripes
Image 2: A title, "What is Disability Pride" with a red, yellow, green, and blue horizontal word bubble including the following information. Celebrates the vastness and diversity of people that experience physical, sensory, cognitive, and/or psychological disabilities. Recognizes multiple axes of power and privilege that intersect with disability like race, gender, and financial security among others. Challenges systemic ableism and singular, deficit-oriented definitions of disability as a disease instead of as a natural part of the human experience . Aligns with the the passage of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) in 1990. Underneath are three white clouds with the following statistics: Up to 1 in 4 adults in the U.S. live with at least one disability. People with disabilities are 3-7x more likely to experience interpersonal violence. 4 in 10 people with disabilities report unfair treatment in healthcare settings, at work, or when applying for public benefits. This information was sourced from Disability Community Resource Center, National Coalition Against Domestic Violence, Urban Institute, and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

(2) Wage gaps are even wider for parti-time, LGBTQ+, and parents workers. (3) Pay discrimination reflects systemic racism and sexism that undervalues Black women workers. (4) S*x discrimination at work includes sexual harassment and discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity.
