Today, we hosted the annual African-American Read-In at Dr. George Washington Carver Elementary School.

Members from our community visited classrooms and shared in a read-aloud with students. Our scholars were able to participate in rich conversations, and build a relationship with one of our many community stakeholders and supporters.

The Read-In is an important tradition at Carver, as well as all Bayview schools. It also serves as our official kick off to Black History Month!
