Specifically, Megan will address her time at Essence Digital and Google, focusing on her role on Google's Media Lab team. Megan will dive into what this team is and how it works with Google Marketing to run successful digital media campaigns. The webinar will provide examples of Google's marketing campaigns and what made them stand out. Megan will also touch on recent trends and challenges in the digital industry like Apple privacy changes on iOS. Overall, this should be an informative and relevant look into one marketer's experience in digital.

Speaker

Megan Eisenbrown is a performance marketer on Google's Media Lab team. She has worked in digital marketing for 7 years primarily on the Google business, specifically G Suite, YouTube TV, and Google Search. Megan graduated from Cornell University with a degree in business and a specialization in marketing. After graduating she worked for Essence Digital across several departments - operations, account management, and media planning. Most notably during her time at Essence, Megan led the digital support of YouTube TV’s presenting sponsorships of the 2018 & 2019 NBA Finals and 2018 & 2019 World Series. After moving to Google in 2019, Megan has focused on Google Apps, advising the Search business on performance campaigns. Megan lives in San Francisco and recently started commuting back to the Google office. She gets her appetite from a large Italian family and enjoys binge watching Netflix and trying new workout classes in her free time.

San Francisco, CA Creative Boot Camp October 1st - 4th

The One Club for Creativity is pleased to announce an amazing opportunity for your students! On October 1st – 4th we are hosting another FREE Creative Boot Camp (CBC) in San Francisco, CA. Students will have the opportunity to work on a real client brief to produce a 360 advertising campaign and pitch it to the client on the final presentation day! This workshop is a special occasion for students interested in an advertising career or those whose trajectory is to become a successful strategist, art director, or copywriter.

Internship in Digital Marketing


SF State’s Department of Development is the principal fundraising arm of the University. We promote the University’s programs to the public and potential and existing donors, with the goal of raising money to advance our students, faculty, programs, and facilities.

Google has awarded our department $10,000 in online search ads as an in-kind donation. The marketing internship entails managing this Google advertising account. Duties will include researching initiatives to be advertised, writing new ads and keywords and managing existing campaigns to maximize effectiveness.

In addition to one class credit, this internship offers a unique hands-on opportunity to learn online advertising in depth. Some Google Ads experience is preferred, but not necessary. Hours are flexible, but 10-12 hours a week is required.
