On Tuesday, our seniors celebrated their “Final Recess” at Convent & Stuart Hall with students who know a thing or two about starting a new journey with new faces at a new school, our kindergarteners! It was a special moment to see the very beginning and the grand finale of the K-12 Convent & Stuart Hall journey come together.

A joyful congratulations to the Convent & Stuart Hall students who received their First Holy Communion last Saturday! Such a meaningful and beautiful celebration.

Thank you to everyone who joined us last week for the Class of 2030 high school welcome reception! Along with last month’s kindergarten reception, it has been a joy to welcome new families to the Convent & Stuart Hall community. We are so looking forward to getting to know you and your students more deeply, and to all that the 2026-27 school year will bring.

Calling all Convent & Stuart Hall alumni: save the date for Friday, September 18, and Saturday, September 19, for our 2026 Alumni Reunion. This special weekend brings together the alumni community and celebrates milestone classes with graduation years ending in 1 or 6.

On the last day of Teacher Appreciation Week, join us in celebrating our incredible Convent & Stuart Hall educators. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Our students are so lucky to have you!

Thank you to everyone who joined us last month for this year’s Walk for Uganda, which raised enough to fund three full-tuition scholarships for Sacred Heart students in Uganda.

Closing out our recent high school trip recaps with highlights from the visit to China! From March 27 through April 4, 31 students and chaperones traveled to Beijing and Shanghai for a cultural exploration of China that connected ancient history, language engagement, and modern global development.

In Beijing, students explored historic sites like the Temple of Heaven, the Great Wall, the Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, and the Summer Palace. And in Shanghai, students experienced the Pudong District, getting a sense of daily life in one of the world’s largest cities.

Surprise! It’s Congé! 🎉

Continuing a beloved tradition, our Convent & Stuart Hall eighth graders helped organize a day of fun for students in Grades K-7. This year's activities included bouncy houses, mini golf, cotton candy, face painting, a magic show, and carnival games. For Convent students, the day ended with a Variety Show performed by the Convent eighth graders, while Stuart Hall students watched (or played in!) a spirited faculty and staff vs. student basketball game!

A huge congratulations to the eighth-grade class and faculty members who helped make this special day possible.

At the end of last month, Convent & Stuart Hall Grade 5-8 Mandarin students went on a field trip to Chinatown! As an experiential language-learning opportunity, the trip gave students the chance to practice reading and speaking Mandarin in real-world settings and connect their language studies to the city around them.

Through a guided tour of historic landmarks, an herbal pharmacy, a fortune cookie factory, and Stockton Street food markets, students learned about and experienced San Francisco's rich Chinese American history and culture.
