Earlier this summer, a group of Convent & Stuart Hall faculty and staff members attended Roots That Give Us Wings, a conference hosted by the Network of Sacred Heart Schools that explores the origins of Sacred Heart education in St. Charles, Missouri, where Saint Rose Philippine Duchesne established the first Sacred Heart school outside of Europe.

Alongside fellow Sacred Heart educators, they explored and engaged with the history, mission, traditions and stories of our foundresses, whose vision and legacy continue to unite the Sacred Heart community.

Looking back at a highlight from the end of the school year: In May, Convent & Stuart Hall fifth graders took a 3-day, 2-night trip to Camp SEA Lab in Aptos, CA. Camp SEA Lab is a nonprofit that offers programs focused on teaching young people about our coasts and ocean. Students learned about wetland ecosystems, marine biology and the impact we each have on the environment.
