Join us on Friday, November 6th to hear from UHS alum, Marisa Rodriguez! As CEO of the Union Square Alliance, Marisa Rodriguez leads San Francisco’s iconic 27-block district, representing $21 billion in assessed value. Bringing a unique background in legal, regulatory, and government affairs, Marisa was selected to navigate post-pandemic challenges and drive a bold turnaround for Union Square and greater San Francisco.

A memorable evening at Jackson Street Gallery 📷🌱

Last week, we celebrated the opening of "The Things We Cannot Change" by Bay Area artist Kija Lucas, the first exhibition in this year’s Professional Artist Series. Students and guests had the opportunity to hear directly from Kija and explore her work examining memory, home, identity, and belonging.

Thank you to Kija, curator and Visual Arts Instructor Mark Harris, and everyone who joined us for a great opening night!

The exhibition is on view through October 18th.
